This is just a general observation and I am not pointing out any specific vendors or manufacturers.

Is it just me or is the list of manufacturers excluding themselves from vendor % off sales getting longer?

I was just thinking this exact same thing . It almost seems that since many of the items we buy are speciality items, they know that they have us in a corner. You either pay the full asking price , or do without . It's really sad .

If no one can compete with your product and everyone wants it you can charge as much as you. Until people stop buying and then drop the price till they do again. One company has great products but they sure are proud of them

I hate that too.. and the stupid MAP pricing on stuff...
They're related. If a vendor can give a discount to a product that is supposed to have a MAP, then nothing would stop another vendor from posting a slightly better "discount" on that product. Manufacturers tell vendors to exclude their items from sales for a reason.

I know... but that is prob. Artificially inflated prices. Let the market decide what price it should be..
