Salifert alk test kit printing typo?

Sorry, I would not assume it is correct to do something different from the directions, but in this case it doesn't matter much. The amount of dye added is not important and should not change the answer, as long as you can clearly detect the color.

This is an indicator dye. (I assume it's essentially a pH indicator that changes color when it's protonated/deprotonated, but Randy is better trained to comment on the specifics.) Adding 1 drop instead of 2 will change the intensity of the color, but shouldn't change the point at which the color changes.
