Hi ,

I have salifert calcium test. I wonder how to measure +500 ppm values. My value seems to be higher than 500ppm.

I spend 1ml which is about 500ppm. and 0.17ml more.

Thanks for the help.

Some of the tests have a footnote that tells what each mark in the syringe equates to. May want to read totally thru the directions.

Nothing is written. They say you can't see +500 ppm calcium value on salifert test on the net. I'm confused.

Looking at the salifert directions every 0.02ml = 10ppm calcium, so 0.17 would equal about 85ppm, giving you a total 585ppm.

That assumes the test is accurate to this range, but my red sea instructions allow for more than 1.0ml with directions for calculating so I would think that would be ok for other similar kits

Oh yeah. Ty!

I checked my CA balling bottle. There were 4 cm calcium powder dust on the bottom. It seems it wasn't mixed well. That's why it made the values way higher.
