Salifert issue anyone have an email for them?

My last 3 KH kits the 1ml syringe has worn off the printing. Never had this problem in the past but haven't even gotten 1/4 way into this last kit and already have lost the 1ml mark. They just rub right off lately. Here is a pic of a kit half way through and one a quarter. Anyone have a contact for them beside the mailing address? Sick of wasting money early.

This happens to pretty much every one for me. I always just thought of it as "normal" since I go through KH faster then any other test.

I was out of the hobby for 10+ years so this is new to me as it never did it back in the early 2000's too me. I just start at .9 then ,8 and and 10 or 20 but for what the kit costs the print should stick imo

I’m just careful to avoid touching the syringe markings, though I have considered buying some quality syringes.

This is normal for a one use disposable syringe, at least these days. I use these frequently and keep a couple dozen on hand. Purchased through Amazon.

I have read that putting clear tape over the markings preserves them. Never tried it because by the time the markings start to noticeably wear, the plunger is not sliding as easily as when new, making careful titrations difficult.

On day 1, wrap the marking in packing tape as to laminate it. Then you can touch it all you want.

Its the brand of product starting with "s" followed by gmail dot com - that will get an answer from Habib.
