If my nitrates are over 25ppm, then I trust Salifert over the Hanna high range nitrate checker. Seems like both match at 25ppm or below.

tank has been up and running for nearlly 3 weeks it was 0.5 before water change now it is off the charts at 4ppm+

Sorry, If your still reading nitrites they do through off nitrate test kits.

don't know what to do then ordered some coral coming next week should i dose some nitrate or leave it and hope i have some nitrate i know my phosphate is 0.68 i don't know what happened my nitrite were reading 0.5 before a 75% water change now after the water change they are reading off the charts 4ppm+ no more ammonia was added

I would ask your supplier for store credit while your reef’s parameters stable out.
