Anyone use this? And if so do you have a heck of a time reading the lower end if the chart? I can't really tell the difference between 0.03 and 0.1 unless I put the vial half on the color and half on the white part of chart.

This may be a stupid question but does that effect the reading since the instructions say to place it on the white part looking down?

So that is why I am thinking about to get a Hanna po4 tester.

I just don't want to spend 50 bucks on a new po4 test when all I'm interested in is getting it below 0.1 and finding a balance to keep it there. After that I won't even test it much.

I dirtied up my tank to combat dinos so po4 got really high as a result, that's really the only reason I'm interested in the numbers right now.

It is hard to read. It is just a swag. If you need precise, then you have to get a Hannah... even this is kinda still just a swag where you can have 20% variance from test to test.

Well, the test I just did was too hard to read between 0 and 0.03 and 0 is what started my issues to begin with so I pulled the chemipure blue and now I'll just stick to my routine and not worry too much about it.

I was looking to see what got updated on this post, then realized I didn’t see any of my responses. Wrong forum.
