Does anybody here test Strontium with the Salifert test kit?

I have a hard time being able to distinguish the difference between blue and blue.

Salifert replied to my post in the chemistry forum and is going to take pictures at various stages of the test. How cool is that?

Well after all of the testing, re-testing and getting directions/snapshots from Salifert I was finally able to test Strontium. My Strontium is 10 ppm.

So Strontium is ok. I would have felt much better if it would have been 6 and I needed to dose something.

Glad to hear its in check. Have you tested your potassium?

Yea, It's at 424 as of last Wednesday. Potassium stays fairly solid for me. I check it every other week and dose about 1/16 of a cup of Potassium Chloride powder whenever it gets below 400. That seems to happen about every 2 months. In total I have dosed 8oz (227g) of Potassium Chloride in approximately a year and a half.

Red Sea. When my reagent ran out about a month ago I tried to find a Salifert kit but couldn't find one. Main reason is that I have a hard time between purple and blue
