Hi,
If anyone using Salifert Ca / Mg test kits, can help me with this?
I've been doing Ca / Mg test using my new Salifert test kit. As per salifert, it;s ok to have air bubble -
"There will be air present just below the piston. This is the air which was present between the end of the plactic tip and the piston. This will not influence the test result."
So when I slowly draw Ca-3 reagent into the syringe till the lower end of the black part of the pistion is exactly at the 1.00 ml mark, the actual Ca-3 reagent is going only up to 0.85ml. Is this accurate? could you please share your experience?
Thanks

I usually end up with about 8 to 8 1/2 of reagent
