Hello, What is the best way or ways to raise your salinity? By doing water changes with increased salinity level than what your tank is presently running? How much higher? Say you are currently at 1.025 or 33.6ppt and you want to raise it to 35ppt or 1.026 how should you do this safely.
Thanks for any responses.

I would use 35 ppt water as your top off water until you reach the desired salinity. Then back to regular top off to keep it there. That way it is raised slowly.

Great call.

Keep an eye on your big 3, while you work your way up in salinity.
You might not need to dose those as much until you stable out.

I agree. Raising salinity is easiest to accomplish by replacing evaporated water with your normal tank salinity. That raises it slow and steady without stress.
