Salinity Hugh During Cycling

I am in the middle of cycling, my Salinity is high. Will it affect my Cycling process? Should i make my salinity adjustments? or should I wait when I do WC?

Is this a new apex? If so wait a week or two with it soaking in your sump. It should eventually start dropping. Then recalibrate your probe. Use another method to measure your salinity for the time being.

Can I use the calibration sachet of my Hannah salinity ?

You can try to see what it does. I believe that answer would be no. Neptune probe measures conductivity at 50.163ms and the apex converts to ppt. The Hana salinity measures ppt out the box. To different calibration methods

check salinity with a refractometer or other unit just to make sure that is a correct reading

I do not see why you cannot use any standard as long as you know the conductivity of it. We can covert the conductivity into seawater ppt equivalent if that is needed to read it on the APEX.
