I made a 5 gallon bucket of fresh saltwater last night to do a 5 gallon water change in my 29 gal system today. It has been sitting over night and circulating. I woke up the morning and read the Salinity level and it is reading 1.028 that is a little higher then I wanted I wanted to get to 1.025 which is best for corals, Can any one tell me if it will be okay to change with this level the current level in the tank is 1.021 I don't want to shock everyone in the tank raising that much up, Or can anyone tell me how to lower the salinity in the current WC water Thank you

What are you measuring it with? You could just add some more RO/DI water, to get it down a bit. You could also add your make up water to replace your evaporation, until your salinity is where you want it in your DT.

That'll be fine as far as not shocking your tank, but...

Remember when you do a water change like this, you're overall salinity in the tank will go up.

I think this is fine in your case as I always keep my tanks at 1.025....but if you were trying to maintain 1.021 then you'd have to do something to make up for the increase salinity of the n water going in. My usual course is to take out more water (and thus salt) than I put back in...let the ATO make up the difference in volume.
