Before I start if anyone knows a better thread to post this in that would be great.
Ok so I reasently started doing regulate water changes and not being lazy and letting nitrates get to 80. How ever for a while I have been water for my lfs which is only 1.022. all coral are doing great except scolymia but I think that is due to constantly falling into the sand. My question is due to in a few weeks I will be able to make up to 250 litres of saltwater (more than enough) but should I slowly increase the salinity or keep it the same?
Thanks

I would very slowly (weeks) increase sg to 1.025. Make sure you are using a properly calibrated refractometer.

If you are doing 10% water changes, use new salt measured to 1.025. Keep doing it and eventually get close enough to 1.025

This way you will have a routine that you won't need to change and you'll have one more reason to keep up with regular water changes.
