Salinity rise from two part dosing. Wet skimming offset.

I am researching for setting up a large reef display. I would love to hear from those that do use/have used two part dosing and wet skim. Can wet skimming offset the salinity rise from two part dosing successfully? And if this works for you, do you think it can work for a large system?

I am trying to work out in advance whether a calcium reactor will be necessary. My planned system will be 8'x (3' or 2.5') x 2.5' high. My planned skimmer will be a NYOS Quantum 300 or a similar capacity of another brand.

It should work in theory unless your dosing a tremendous amount of 2-part.
I dose 50 ml of each on a mixed reef 180g. Tank has only been up for 4 months with the 2-part but I wet skim and my salinity has not gone up at all.

I dose 2 part and skim moderately with no swings in salinity. Depending on your demand you might be able to get by with 2 part. If you are going full SPS then perhaps a CR would be better suited for you.
It all depends on demand and your preference.

From the years prior that I kept SPS dominated tanks and using a calcium reactor, I have to say that 2-part produces better looking SPS IMO even if the cost is higher.
