@Randy Holmes-Farley

@Randy Holmes-Farley If a person is on a well and their temp comes out at 60 degrees F and they mix their salt at 60 degrees to 1.026, once the make up water becomes 77 degrees F, what is the actual Salinity @ 77 degrees, is it like 1.029 ?

They are measuring with apex probe, & Milwaukee digital meter ....... The Milwaukee meter is at 1.026 right now at 66.90 F. The apex is at 38.1 at 66.90

Once the new water up warms up too 77 degrees what will the PPT on the Apex read ( assuming its accurate ) and what will the Milwaukie digital meter read in Specific gravity once it warms up.

If those devices are working properly (they may not have temperature corrections set properly, especially the APEX which seems to allow users to choose inappropriate settings or turn off temp correction entirely), and the APEX has its temperature sensor in the water being measured, then there should be no large change in the reported SG with temperature because both devices make these corrections already.

Thanks Randy. Really appreciate your input
