I just bought an Ro/di and salt to make my own, but I can’t find any “reliable” salinity tester, any refractometer, or testing fluid has negative reviews. Can someone tell me a good option?

in the era of internet, everyone have something negative to say about everything. If you wait for a product to have zero negative issue before buying it, you will end up with nothing. any refractometer will do the job, or if you dont want to put your eyes into a scope to make the reading and prefer to have an LCD showing you a number (interestingly, people tend to believe those reading are more accurate, while they are just paying for a machine to make the same easy reading anyone can do), hanna or milwaukee have good product too.

If you are making the jump to producing your own RODI water there’s no reason not to get a Milwaukee digital refractometer. Takes the guesswork out.
