Salinity - What to Trust?

I use a refractometer that i used to see what my 35+ year old swing arm read at the same time. The swing arm was off from the refractometer so I made a mark on the swing arm where it was at after just checking with the refractometer at 1.026.

Is this for 1.026, 35 ppt? Can this solution be used in a refractometer? @Randy Holmes-Farley

I mixed this solution the best I could. My scale can read 0.1 but not .01.

Yes but it won't work if the scales only read 0.1 as the amount is so small, just slightly off will give an incorrect result.
