Salinity?

What’s your reading at? In the future, you will lose water due to evaporation and your salinity will slowly tick upwards. What we do is add the same amount of water we use for water changes without salt. Basically, now is good practice. You’ll want to make sure that the temperature is the same as that of the tank. Start slowly at first until you can get a feeling of how much water needs to be added for your aquarium.

@chefunk all solid advice.

Given it is not operational with livestock since just starting the nitrogen process you can do all at once without worrying about anything so it's good to learn this now instead of on a cycled tank with critters in it. :) This is actually a good opportunity to learn your tank before livestock is introduced and allow you to play around and calculate ranges.

Let us know the specific gravity if you would please.

1.033 is def on the high side but wont affect your tank since you dont have any corals or fishes. Just scoop out couple cups of water from your tank and scoop in RODI water.
