New to reefing & tank has been going strong for a little over 2 months. Have maintained 1.025 SG the whole time. Started testing Alkalinity, Calcium, Magnesium, etc. to start getting in the habit to prepare for corals in the future. Using Fritz Reef Pro and Alkalinity is staying at 7dKH. Want to get it to at least an 8. Fritz website says Alkalinity will get to an 8+ if my SG is at 1.026. Is that ok? Many people & sites recommend 1.025. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

Many people run their reef aquariums at 1.026 it should be fine.
Make sure that you are using a quality tool to measure salinity such as a refractometer and that it has been calibrated recently.
