Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has any tricks for a fast method on raising salinity levels in a new tank. Would it be a good idea to make a more concentrated batch of saltwater and then add it. There are no fish in the tank right now. I am new to the hobby and I don't want to make a mistake that will harm the tank.

You don't have any fish, but do you have any inverts (snails, crabs, etc) or corals? If so, DO NOT raise the salinity quickly.

If nothing living in the tank, salt can go straight in with heat and circulation.

there is nothing in the tank right now besides some live rock. I am planning on adding fish later today from my 20 gallons. I just need to get the salinity levels to be the same

Not advised, but during the rebuild of my 150g I just added the whole 5g bucket of salt, but I do have tons of flow and high turn over
