salinity

I'm sure I dont test mine nowhere near enough, maybe once every 3-4 weeks, maybe longer.
When I first started reefing it was every week along with all my other tests. As for how often you should, I am not 100% sure.

when I perform a water change bi weekly... im measuring my new salt mix anyways... also usually calibrate at this time..

Mine is monitored with an Apex but prior to that, only once a week when I did water changes. Unless you have a very small tank, there is no reason for it to ever change as long as your equipment is working correctly (mainly ATO).

I now check mine with the Hanna Salinity Pen. I also use the Apex Salinty probe. I do not trust this probe For accurate results, but more or less use it as a guide to see if my salinity is going up or down.
