Just curious what end of the spectrum you all like your salinity at?

Any pros or cons to keeping it at 1.026 apposed to keeping 1.021 or vise versa?

From what ive read its best to keep the salinity similar to the ocean, average is about 1.025 in nature

Which ocean? Salinity varies from ocean to ocean

I agree. If you have fish also, and most do... 1.026 is a little to high for many of them.

125g mixed reef Peninsula
salinity: 1.025, CA: 500, ALK: 9.0DKH, NO3: 0, PO4: 0.25, MAG: 1355
AI SOL BLUES/ 24" T5 Combo
30g Sump, 1400gph Return Flow, 3700 gph PH Flow

I shoot for 1.025 as well

For a fish only I have heard that they tend to do better at fighting off disease with a lower (1.022ish) SG
