Hello everyone -
So a few questions regarding salinity. The first picture is what my tank was at before I did a water change. The second picture is after the water change.

Here is the problem, I broke my hydrometer. So I have no other choice but to use this plastic point of sale.

So, was my salinity this low? Could my corals and fish be affected. I can't seem to measure whether or not my salinity is a true reading or not.

Can I use this as a true reading or should I be worried there is too much salt now?

So the first picture is before your water change at 1.016 and the second picture is after your water change at 1.022...i don't know that id trust that thing. The swing arms are known to be pretty inaccurate. With that low of salinity and then that big of a swing you should be seeing issues with your fish and corals in the tank. But if everyone looks happy I wouldn't worry about it and just order a new refractometer :)
