I started back in March with my 1st SW tank ever, has it's highs and lows and I know I need to be more diligent with water changes and maintenance. I have a shop that moved in close to me, much closer compared to where I currently get my RODI/Saltwater from, would there be any issues moving forward if I decided to get my water from the local shop. The current shop uses Fritz RPM but I'm not exactly sure what this shop uses. Question is, am I safe to change salt brands?

Different salts will often have different amounts of trace elements in them. They also may have slightly different salinity (but usually not, and can be adjust for). I wouldn't do a massive swap all at once if it was me just because you could throw off your parameters that your corals are currently happy with. Test your old water before putting in the tank test the new water, and test tank water. See how they all compare. If they're close you'll most likely have no issues. But if alk and ca are completely different you may aggravate the corals.

I'm not an expert so take what I say with a grain of salt, but seems the logical way to do it. Plenty of people change salts with no issues. I eventually plan to switch salts for better trave element levels than reef crystals.
