Salt Creep...Emergency?

I woke up this morning and found salt creep on the outside right corner of my tank. Is this cause for concern? I put a piece of paper in between the rim and tank and it came up with water. I'm not sure if this could have been water that dripped down during a water change or a leak. Any suggestions for what steps to take?

Water shouldn't be as high as the rim. I'd suspect condensation before that. What's the temp of your room? Can you post a pic?

Salt creep on seams are not a good sign!

It was on the lower rim, not the upper. My room sits at 74 degrees but dips a bit lower during the night.

When I was changing water I would get buildup on the bottom rim
Sounds like its from the water change.
I was messy lol

Sounds like a water change to me too. How much salt are we talking? Just a light coating that you can brush off?

Yeah it came off just by brushing it off.

Just keep that area dry, keep an eye on it, if you get creep back before your next water change, then I'd start to worry.
