Hey guys,
I am seeing some salt creep underneath my aquarium when I poke my head under the stand. It is visible in all four corners (see pictures). I’m wondering if this is caused by a slow leak or if this is normal. I’m moving the tank so it could be a good time to replace it if needed. It’s 75 gallons with a 29 gallon sump underneath. The protein skimmer does seem to spit out a few water droplets, but I would think the salt creep would be in the middle of the tank if it was from the sump? I needed to top off about 2-3 gallons of water once a week in the summer, and now that is up to twice a week but i’m thinking it may be from dry winter air. What do you guys think?
