Agreed. If you don't have anything hanging over the front edge of the tank that could be wicking water over the side I suspect it is a leak.

If this were splashing over the sides there would be obvious salt streaks down the glass that the OP would have noticed.
The wood is even saturated by the look of the picture.
It's definitely worth the due diligence to ask for confirmation that nothing is spilling/splashing over the rim, but IMO that tank is leaking. It needs to be replaced, the sooner the better. You may only have days.

I love paper towels to find leaks. Clean the area up and fold or roll a paper towel in the area of th salt creep. Make sure there is nothing to spill over the top of the tank and check the paper towel every once and a while. If you pull it up and it is wet on bottom it could be a leak, if it’s wet on top something is splashing. Let’s hope the top gets wet
Probably the only reason this tank hasn’t turned into a water feature already.Best thing about salt tanks is the auto seal minor leaks given enough time.
