Unless the water is splashing/spilling over this could be a leak.

#reefsquad ?
Agreed. If you don't have anything hanging over the front edge of the tank that could be wicking water over the side I suspect it is a leak. :(

From the looks of it, tank is slowly leaking from the silicone seal that holds the front & bottom glass panes. It’s definitely water from the tank because of the salt & water mark on the wooden stand where it meets the tank. I would inspect the inside of the stand around that particular area, to see if the top wooden planks are soaking up water & how much of it. Good luck.

I can't really tell from the picture, but is that a line of salt running down the side of the tank right at the seam? I would definitely follow all of the above advice, but can you provide a picture of that whole side of the tank?

Could be from the tank not being level as well. Water line at the corner is high, wave maker pushing water over the rim. If not, could definitely be a leak.

Can't rule out occasional snail on a wave maker directing water up over the rim.

Many factors.

Hello

I love paper towels to find leaks. Clean the area up and fold or roll a paper towel in the area of th salt creep. Make sure there is nothing to spill over the top of the tank and check the paper towel every once and a while. If you pull it up and it is wet on bottom it could be a leak, if it’s wet on top something is splashing. Let’s hope the top gets wet

If this were splashing over the sides there would be obvious salt streaks down the glass that the OP would have noticed.
The wood is even saturated by the look of the picture.

It's definitely worth the due diligence to ask for confirmation that nothing is spilling/splashing over the rim, but IMO that tank is leaking. It needs to be replaced, the sooner the better. You may only have days.

Yes, finding the reason for the water is top priority, ASAP.

Mine will get salt creep outside the tank from a snail diverting flow over the top once in a blue moon. Yes there will be a trail of salt down the glass from it.
