Salt Discussion

Hi Everyone,

I have been using reef crystal since the very beginning. I am currently looking into other salts. Is it bad to change salts while already having an established tank? The reef crystal just has a lot of crystalizing around and on the outside of my aquarium which I have heard that is common with this brand. Also, what are some good salt suggestions people use!

Anything on the outside needs investigation & is not necessarily a specific salt problem.
Could be spray from an air stone, wave maker splash or fish splash like I have or a bad seal on the top just under the rim.
