Salt has gotten wet

My salt has sucked up huge amounts of moisture. As a result I have have undissolved calcium carbonate when mixing new salt and the water is not clear at all. Alkalinity has dropped to 5dkh from 8.5 and calcium has dropped significantly as well compared to thw standard number. Should I be worried by the addition of all of this calcium carbonate in the tank?

It's not clearing up at all? Let it circulate for an hour and see if it clears/mixes in.

It is really hard to dissolve calcium carbonate. My concern is that it will slowly dissolve in the dt, slowly raising alk and calcium. After leaving the salt to sit, I can visible see the calcium carbonate residue at the bottom. I am using aquaforest reef salt.

Could try a silica pack in a mesh bag. @atomos said this worked. You can get larger packs on Amazon originally for use in camera bags to avoid condensation on lenses. Depends a lot on how much hydration has occurred though. And if you need to purchase 50 bucks worth, it's almost better to just replace the salt. Maybe @Randy Holmes-Farley can provide some insight. But with silica you can regenerate it

That would be to keep it from getting wet I assume.
But what about post getting wet?
I'm not sure if heating the water would speed it up??

I bought a 25kg batch of salt that would supposedly be delivered in a bucket... It came in a box, I didn't expect it would get so wet so quickly, even after closing the box the a lid. I am attempting to clear it using a canister filter and tben I will dose alk and Ca

Calcium carbonate cannot dissolve in normal seawater at any pH above 7.6. Even if it did dissolve a little, that's no big deal.

Many people intentionally add it as "coral snow" to remove organics that bind to it.
