As insurance against a flawed salt batch, I blend 3 brands. I do this by blending them into solution, one at a time. This works quite well, helping to average out any batch inconsistencies.
It would save me time to premix the 3 salts together in dry form, rather than one at a time into solution. However, I am incompetent to determine if dry mixing would result in negative interactions or precipitation during mixing.
So my question to the chemists - will dry blending result in problems?
