Any one know why I have a brown sandy film on the inside of my salt mixing tank? I run Red Sea coral Pro salt. I mix it in 55 gal tanks
1 tank is Ro and the other is my salt mix. I've noticed the film on the inside of the salt tank. Was wondering if anyone else has this issue?

There can be sediment in the salt and that is what your see.
The mix is still clear and save to use, if you don't trust it just test for Po4 and ALK, if your new mix is right mix at 1.025 it should be a problem.

I have tried many different salts over the last 40 years and I still haven't found one that doesn't leave some sort of residue like this.
