[Legal Reefer]

Anyone familiar with vibrant sea by seachem? Is it good. I'm not sure if it is a newer product or just a renamed product. This is what I'm using right now and my tank is only around nine weeks in runnng. Anyone have any experience with this mix? Just asking because it is convenient for me to get. I could switch to instant ocean if there is a down side to using vibrant sea.

Thanks for the information. I used instant ocean twenty some years ago, I'm thinking now that I'll slowly switch over to IO reef crystals.

I recently had a bad algae outbreak but after changing my water source I'm getting it under control. It's my understanding that high potassium may cause algae blooms also, but I'm not sure if that was part of the problem or not since the algae is going away with the water source change. I'll play it safe and move to the more widely used IO.
