Salt mix

I originally used instant ocean salt mix in my tank. When I thought it was only going to be Fowler tank but things changed and now I’m getting instant ocean reef crystal mix. Plan on getting coral is it possible to mix the regular salt with the reef crystal mix to get rid of it? Thank you!?

Yes you can mix the salts to use up the old stuff. Some people do this anyway when switching salt mixes.

Yes it’s actually better to do it that way as not to shock your system with the switch over.
