I’m going to be starting up a 25 lagoon and I was looking for salt recommendations. I’m planning pretty much softies and LPS and I would prefer to maintain parameters with water changes and not have to dose.

Red Sea Coral Pro.... has elevated Ca and Alk which will eliminate dosing with what you want to keep. 3 gallon change will do it.

Short answer is salt is a matter of opinion. Pick the salt that matches the Alk, and Ca levels you want to maintain as that’s really the biggest differences between them. BRS has done some videos lately on storage and levels on the most popular ones with tropic marine being the top pick. With that said I’ve used regular instant oceans for 25 years and have never had a issue.

Salt is a matter of opinion, but since you asked... to me you cannot go wrong with AF Reef Salt. Mixes fast and clear, you can use it immediately, and all levels are spot on
