Don't chance a water change until you're entirely confident in your new salt mix and salinity.
The water change can def wait if there's any doubt.

Lots of people use IO with no problems. I wouldn’t worry about quality issues. Folks have offered plenty of good advice on mixing it up and am sure you’ll find what works for you.
