Hi folk I always see that salt manufacturer say to get certain salinity at 25 degree . Does it mean I need to cool the water before I mix in the salt?? I always measure using Milwaukee digital salinity 1.026 at 29 or 30 degrees Celsius , is that ok ???

I have to heat my water to get it up to temp, and it probably goes over the recommended 25-26C range regularly (I turn the heater and powerhead on and walk away). In my observations it is fine with warmer water; I have a 220 gallon, so I mix a lot of water.

I find mixing in cold water, there is definitely a lot of precipitate which builds up over time; which of course means it is not mixing properly.

I always mix my salt into the largest pot I have in the kitchen to be sure everything gets mixed in. Then pour that into a five gallon bucket and dilute accordingly. I only have a 40 gallon, so this works great for me.

If the question is can you measure salinity or specific gravity accurately using the Milwaukee MA887 Digital Salinity Refractometer at a range of temperatures (including 30 deg C), the answer is yes. :)

You can mix salt into water at any temp, but you may get less precipitation at lower temperatures. :)

the question is when i mix the salt with water , the temperature is at 29 degree and it is showing salinity at 1.026 . is this correct ? or do i need to cool down the water to 25 degrees ?

You are fine. The difference is so small it isn't worth worrying about. Besides, by the time you pull the sample, setup the test, and test it, your sample test has probably dropped 1-2 C anyway.

Yes, your device automatically corrects for temperature differences. :)
