I'm new to reefing (7 months). Everything is going better than expected, I've put in a lot of time and effort. I have most of my fish and coral. The only problem is a little bubble algae and phosphate is running .10. My question is do I add a few more coral I like and maybe one fish or stop and enjoy the tank for a while. I would die if I added something and ran into problems. ALSO has anyone had a tank that everything is going great, they didn't add anything and everything went to hell. thanks

Dont add anything for now but get the phosphate lowered first. reduce amount you are feeding and if you are feeding reef roids or similar to coral, hold off for now.
Add a pouch of chemipure blue or Elite to your sump in the path of running water and it will drop slowly and stay in check
Are you using RODI water or tap water from the faucet ?
This will reduce food source for bubble algae. You can carefully twist off large bubbles and discard OR with a 3/8" tubig, hold tube at each bubble and pop and siphon the spores within.

This is all up to you.

What are you running now? What is your tank size, current stock of fish and corals? Bubble algae can be a pain. A couple "Emerald Crabs" may or may not help.

What corals are you thinking of adding? Do you have adequate light? Flow?

What fish are you thinking? Is your tank large enough? Are they reef safe?
