What's the best in your opinion?

Brass? Stainless? Galvanized? Some type of coating? Dipped?

Let's hear what you think...
 
Hardware for what exactly? The answer may be that you're better off with plastic.
 
Hinges. Screws. Nuts fasteners. Washers... etc... not actually under water... but around it, above it, close...

I'm building a DIY light canopy and thought I'd throw it out there befor ei bought everything
 
I'd still opt for plastic where ever I could :)

But I do use some stainless out of the water and away from spray

Oh ya and some aluminum
