Hello I’m looking to see if my tropic marin bucket was made in Turkish facility. I just bought it Friday was coming from RS PRO and was reading up on Turkish made salt for TM wasn’t good. How can I tell?

Thanks in advance

You can start by mixing up a batch and testing it. Then match you numbers against the reported numbers on the bucket to see if they come close.

Where can I find those reported numbers

On the container.
Cause I’ve been trying to figure out if tropic marin or Red Sea blue bucket. I like how Red Sea you can see your batch information and I can’t seem to find that on tropic Marin website. Thoughts?

The bucket will say Made in Turkey. It would have to be a super old bucket that was never exchanged. They shut Turkey down a couple years ago

Ok it says made in Germany. So I think I’m good. Before I open it and use it. I’ve been back and forth between TM and Red Sea blue bucket. I like Red Sea cause you can type batch number in and see what element are I like that. I can’t do that with TM can I?

I’m not sure if TM has batch results like that. I’d take TM over Red Sea 100 out of 100 times though. I’ve never been impressed with Red Sea salt personally.

You can find my Ultimate Salt Test and see results for like 14 different salts.

Dying coral is highly unlikely to be due to salt mix choice

I mix up what salt I use just to get through all my excess. I’m currently using NYOS, Aqua Forest, TM, and/or ESV depending on the week. NYOS and ESV being my two favorites
