I'm currently using Red Sea Coral pro for my reef tank, I've been reading about Fritz salt. I read that it balances out Ak, Ca, mag better then Red Sea. So my question is what is the best salt for a reef tank?

This should help with cost and parameters for your choice. Just know if you are using RSCP. Only mix it for 2hrs. It is on the directions and I seen a video from George aka Coralfish12g on YouTube to confirm it. I used RSCP for a year. Now using Reef Crystals, because it says "No Nitrates & No Phosphates" right on the box.

There really is no best salt for a reef tank. Any of the salt brands will work just as good as the next. What you need to do is use the salt brand that mixes up to the numbers closest to what you are trying to keep (Ca, Alk, Mg, etc.). The less dosing you have to do afterwards, the better. I have used IO, Reef Crystals, and now Red Sea Blue all successfully.
