Salt....

I've been using Bio-Actif Meersalz/Sea Salt for a month now and every time i mix a bucket the RO water turns from crystal clear to a tan water color. I never got this type of water coloration with Red Sea Reef Pro Salt.Why is this happening could it maybe be a bad batch? All ive heard is great things about this salt[BRS] but never heard about the tan coloration.If anyone has any info on this i would appreciated.

I’ve had several buckets of this salt and I’ve never had any issues like you mentioned. I have no idea what that could be.

It always mixes quickly and perfectly clear without any residues of any kind for me.

It's the bio-actif brand that does it. But I spoke to them and it's completely normal. It clears up in the tank after is mix with the bacteria in your tank.
