Are these 2 the same salt just different packaging ?

And if same salt is the one on the bottom a older batch to the point , it’a useable ?

I've got to believe it's new packaging. Going to the Tropic Marin website, only the new buckets are being shown. And FYI, meersalz is simply German for sea salt.

It's my opinion that the only time salt is "useable" or, I'll say un-useable is if it turns into a brick. And there are some who would still use salt that has turned into a brick.

It’s the same salt, I have used both and no problems..

good luck trying to find it..BRS just stated they won’t get this in for another 60 days..my LFS can’t even get it

Yeah I ordered from big al” I believe but paid a extra 17 for shipping ..

Found it at Petco online, same price as BRS with free shipping, then applied a 10% discount so a little cheaper
