Saltgator's 240 Build

Mr being sick isn't safe for my corals. I started fragging my frags. Made 2 x bonsai frags and ...... one numb of my tdf from JKR. They're encrusted over plugs but haven't grown up much. So I'm taking the approach of fragging for growth. I noticed my bonsai grew a branch in the last few weeks where u knocked a tiny branch off. So this led me to today's events. Might enter a stick into the challenge thread with one.of these.

To all who follow or may just be bored and reading my thread, what camera do you use for your corals and fish shots. I might have asked some of you already. I thought I'd he OK with a 12mp phone camera, lol, but its not good enough when you don't like your own pics of your prized fish/corals. So let me know what you have because I'm shopping on a blue colar budget. I've looked at Nikon 3100,3200,5000 (all used with a 18mm-55mm lens) and Canon t1i,t2i,1000d (again all used with a 18mm-55mm lens).

Because I'm bored and using my phone.

Never kniw, you might get lucky. It's friday night, maybe the other bidders won't be paying attention ;)
Lol. I.might not too with dinner, a 5 year old daughter playing dress up and pre season hockey. Lol. Priorities!!!

Thanks Chris. Just need these corals to grow up instead of encrusting always.

Haha they'll do it one day, I promise! Mine encrusted for like a year and then all of the sudden, bam started growing like weeds.

Alright, any followers or lookers, I want more fish!!! I'm obsessed with tangs, so ideas??? Plus I need more color in the fish section. Lmk what y'all think? 8 feet of acrylic just seems bare without tons of movement so regardless, color and fish are soon coming!

Atlantic Blue Tang has my vote. Convict Tangs are gorgeous fish as well if you ask me! Don't forget to get a bristle tooth tang or two in there as well... Or are you the one with the white tail yellow eye?

I'm thinking of a big acanthurus species. Not sure I want to mix the bristle tooth with another just yet. My wife loves the Atlantic blue tang but I've never been drawn to them. As much as he was a poop machine, I miss my vlamingi just because of their personality. He was just a no3/po4 creating machine just too big, but so interactive.

I want anthias for color (small school) but a interactive tang. My group now isn't bashful but they need a leader that doesn't mind me or my work within the reef.

Anthias are nice, just very finicky and sensitive, IMO.

How about some Chromis or Cardinals? I like my Yellowstripe Cardinals a lot. They are super tough to ship in though, so make sure your LFS has had them for a few weeks before purchase.

Several wrasses would be cool as well.

Anthias have that bold color but I know what you mean by finicky!! I even considered a larger school of bar gobies, scissor gobies and possibly a tile fish or 3 instead of the anthias.
