Update for reference, feel free to chime in if ya want

Hate the scape, so changed it a bit. Thoughts? Don't hold back either,lol.

Vinegar dosing is up to 35 mL. Ran out of Nitrate test so eyeballing it for now. No noticeable changes other than cyano is everywhere.
Garfield bonsai (so I was told it was) has started to burn. Quickly realized it's my alk and turned the doser off. Still watching it drop so slowly. Hanna reading 185 ppm tonight. Waiting on the magic number around 145.
Fowleri tang is grown along with the fuge. Dosing iron (8 drops a day when I remember). Probably gonna move or at least try to move the fowleri to the 240 soon.
Fuge is showing signs of some growth but nothing super. Ferns have white tips.

The cyano seems to be striking several tanks lately. I swear it comes around like red tide. Lol I got rid of it in my dt with 1/2" dosing chemiclean. Only blacked out 1 day, no lights for 2 then 2x2 turned them back on. Since i only half dosed, i waited a couple more day longer to do a wc, then 1 more wc a few days ago. Cyano is completely wiped out. The 45g is another story....

Lol. I hear ya on the red ride on the cyano. I'm giving the vinegar a chance before chemiclean or a blackout (vote which provided success previously). We'll see how it goes.

Kind of hard to see any detail in the aquascape bud, as someone ( Saltgator ) not sayin' out loud left their darn step ladder in the way and is what the camera focused in on... lol

IMHO, I'd go with 2-3 Islands of LR in your tank. Gives plenty of unique structure for Fish and allows you to place Corals on both sides/slopes of each Island. I did mine initially with two Islands and a diagonal canyon sort of separating them. My new build/tank upgrade will be fun as have some interesting ideas I will try in aquascaping it.

Lol Todd. Always count on you to point out stuff. Good times bud. I'm still playing with the aquascape. I'd love to do islands too but just can't figure it out with rocks already growing stuff. I'm looking forward to your updates too.

Hahaha, I agree with Todd on the step ladder!! ..... and on the islands since you have such a big area to work with

Maybe connect 2 islands with a bridge of sorts for some higher up coral placement....

You could set the rocks with coral already on them off to the side and add them to the structures afterwards.

Hey Brad, here is a handful of pics just after setting my 125g up using Coral covered LR out of my previous 75g. Started out with 3-ish Island approach and eventually to a 2-Island Jungle. May give you some hope or ideas ???

I agree with the cyano....although I have been lucky and it's only growing in my refugium....how ya been brad? Tanks look good, that tang is awesome!...anything I can do to help ya let me know!

Hey Brad, glad things are coming together for you. Try not to design your rocks around stuff that's on them, you'll never be completely happy. Don't hesitate to remove stuff, bust up some rocks and relocate. Happy stacking!
