Saltgator's 240 Build

Happy Friday. I like the islands look a lot better but remember in the end you are the one who has to look at it every day so be sure you like it.

Those fish sure have grown!!!!

Thanks Ryan. As dumb as it may sound, I total my stock up on what I'd sell if I started from scratch. Keeping a few fish and a few corals but selling rock, fish and equipment. I never imagined thinking about it but I obviously let rookie mistakes happen. If I did (Not saying I'm going to, just thinking it thru) start over, I'd be getting new rock, sand, water... pretty much cycling from the start with new.

I think all of us go through the wanting to start over phase. I'm trying my best currently to enjoy what I have and be grateful for that. If you sit on the forums all day you'll always want something new and different and there will always be someone out there with something better. Just my opinion.

One thing I am working on this year is to enjoy what I have and be grateful for it, and to spend less time drooling on forums. LOL

Lol. I hear ya. I try to stay on my favorite threads only so I don't see the new stuff. But my favorites keep getting better, such as yours, lol.

I agree with this as well. My 180 build is nearing completion... just paint and ats yet to do. The rest will be enjoying growout. I'll probably be on the forum a few times per week but not daily (for many hours per day) as I've been for nearly a year. But I like to check in with friends and favorite threads and do updates :) Spring is also just about here in Fl so that means house and yard chores take priority also.

Don't give up on your tank. I felt that way with my 125 and HA issues. It wasn't until i discovered hydrogen peroxide and vodka that I won the battle and it became a beautiful tank again. Your tank can again also. And I do really like the new aquascape ;)

Lol, love yall.

Todd, I'll see if I can't get some elbow grease in there tonight. Acrylic scraping isn't a fun event for me, lol. Anyway, y'all keep it up, I'm loving the comments to read before work. Starts a day out good! HAPPY FRIDAY

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY Friday to you as well Brad, glad you are so graciously taking all the jabs with the kind intent they were sent bud.

On a side not, Yes I am not very fond of cleaning Coraline off of acrylic either. The GOOD news is once you stuff your tank to the gills with Corals this will be a chore of the past. I have not had any issues with coraline for past 2+ years on my system, they/it seems to be at the end of the line for getting necessary nutrients and minerals to survive. Maybe having a few hundred Asterina Stars may play a roll as well........ really do not care as long as I don't have to deal with it.... lol

Tell you what Brad, send me your address etc.. and I'll add you to my 'PIF' list and send you some fast growing Birdsnests and Millepora to compete with that Purple Scourge.

Cheers, Todd

I have some beautiful neon green frogspawn, bicolor hammer and leather frags i could also send you if you'd like them :) oh and I could break you off a piece of red monticap too! Just send a pm with your info when you're ready

Todd and Jackie, I appreciate it but worried about losing y'alls awesome donations. Todd, I got big shoulders so pour on the jokes, lol. Plus with my job, I strongly can take just about anything.

Easier said than done. There is a major upgrade coming in the next few months... Do as I say, not as I do. LOL

You're welcome and I'll set them aside for you until you're ready :)

Teaser; mother colonies of the frogspawn and hammer ;)

I'm not sure when or how I caught the acro/milli bug cause I love euphyilla. Currently I have 2 frogs and 1 hammer. And they love my higher no3.

I think my regal angel would love some of those palys, lol. He doesn't care for button or brown palys, but I attempted sunny d's and he took a frag out overnight growing 5+ polyps.
Here's my current euphyilla

Lol, yeah me too! I have a few but they are still very small and just beginning to grow. I love the lps and palys also because they do great and look great in mid to lower areas the acros won't :)

Yours are different than mine. And no, I guess we won't be feeding the angel lol!
When he ate them it was disappointing but I'd take my regal over any paly. I just wish he had a taste for xenia and gsp!
