Thanks Ryan. I'm already bumping the dosing up on them in preparation but thanks for the reminder. Considered using kent tech m or red sea foundation C to bring the levels up then get some mag supplement from brs. Thoughts?

Got a flipper max in today. Got to say it super nice. 90% of my coraline was taken off. It holds the 1/2 acrylic super nice too.

I'm impressed with it. I was worried it wouldn't help but the magnet is STRONG and the plastic blade works great. I'm sure it will be fantastic on glass.

I ended up doing Kent tech m to get the mag up. Everything seems ok still, waiting on my sps to balance out from the carbon/alk issue. Other than that all looks good. I'm trying to decide on another tang and.... 2 cleaner shrimp. I know your thoughts on the shrimp but the other tang would be mimic. The guy in our local forum offered the tang and shrimp for what I thought was cheap.

Going tonight so hopefully will update. It's a few moons since I owned shrimp. Always wanted to get back onto them but overlooked them often. Crossing my fingers that the mimic will go in the tang clan without a issue (regardless, he's going into a acclimation box).

Come next week I hope to have bought a few bday frags. Going to Tampa more than likely for a day. Maybe I can talk some of the lfs into a free frag,lol.

No test yet. Gonna try and get a kit possibly this weekend. I'd imagine that the bottle raised it up at least to 1200s.

Lol. So far last night the shrimp and the mimic seemed fine in the box. I fed the other tangs nori (which is on a clip and line next to the acclimation box) last night, everyone seen the mimic and didn't really mind. Scarface (black long nose) did some flashing but nothing more. We'll see but I'll keep all posted.

Depends on everyone and whatever is in the box. Usually I'll judge them after 4-5 days.

Decided today was the day to release the shrimp and mimic. All tangs seemed fine for the last 3 days so I decided I could watch them today for aggressive issues. There's always a bad guy in a group, mine is shockingly is my whitetail bristletooth. The mimic quickly returned the flashing and tail slapping. Good news was it was in the rocks and no damage except to the rocks. That was half an hour ago, now the mimic is out with the rest if the group and all seems good.

The shrimp are scared and I think my tangs have no clue what they are. They've been very curious and nipping the antenna(?, phones not helping me spell today).
