Saltwater and Ziploc bags

So my wife and I do the Elf on the Shelf with our kids...one of them being my lil fishy 4yr old. One of our location ideas was in the saltwater tank. Obviously we can't drop him in there, whole stuffing and water thing. The question is if we put the elf in a Ziploc is there anything that can leech off the bag that will hurt the tank? Probably be submerged for 20ish hours.

Cute idea. I wouldn't think anything would leach. They are food safe

I'd rinse the ziplock off in rodi prior to, but no, there should not be any problems as I usually buy frags from other members in ziplocks....
