I hope I spelled that right. My tank is being run over by these.
I have the wond, but it just doesn't seen to do the job. They always come back.
I heard a File Fish would eat them, but also heard that fish will nip at my SPS ?
Any ideas from anyone ??

Thanks

File fish are the only natural majano predator I know of. Perhaps you can have it in the tank temporarily.

Mix some kalkwasser with RODI water and make a pasty substance. Apply it to the anemones conservatively with the pumps off and wait 15-30 minutes. They will melt away. Be careful with this method. Too much kalk will mess with your PH and ALK and if it touches any other corals it could burn them. I cleared every mahajno out of my reef that way

Matted filefish work great. 2/3 I’ve tried have eaten them. When they’re gone, the filefish may move on to coral. The good news is, they hang out at the top of the tank, often by powerheads, and are slow and dumb— thus easy to remove. My majano reaper of choice!

Once majanos reach plague proportions, none of the standard techniques (wand, aptasia X, etc.) are effective. You need a serious biological control, and that means a fish. My pyramid butterfly will eat them. I've had the most success with an Asfur Angel, though it will likely also eat any Zooanthids.

The trick is, when you use the majano wand, you have to obliterate every single piece of flesh from the rock. If you leave even a tiny piece of tissue, they can and will regenerate. It is tedious and time consuming for sure, but effective.

I have tried the Kalk with a syringe, but it always gets clogged up, like to find a bigger end one to try!!
