Hello all! I am new to saltwater (have been keeping freshwater tanks for years...). I rescued a Fluval EVO V that was about to be tossed, inhabitants flushed
It came setup as a reef tank with a few LPS corals, a Humbug damsel, some blue leg crabs, and a few assorted snails- I think I see 2 nassarious snails and what I think could be a turbo snail. The tank was in poor shape when I rescued it- green hair algea, high Phosphate levels, low but still elevated nitrates, low calcium levels, etc. There is a decent amount of hair algea. I have been pretty aggressive with partial (1gallon) water changes every few days to try to get things under control and where they should be.
