Saltwater shelf life??

I got more salt water than I needed for now at my LRS, I will of course use within the next cpl of weeks but will it be fine in 10 gallon bucket till then?? I didn't know if it needed to be moving or circulated or anything or if it will be fine till I need it again for top off.

It can vary by brand, but it should be fine. I prefer to keep a power head in it to keep it nice and oxygenated, and a lid would be a good idea just to keep whatever might be floating around the house out.

Yea I have the lid on tight, but good to know. I might just stir by hand before I use again. Thanks!

Keeping it in covered container can help with lifespan IMO..

Should be just fine.

Just check the salinity before you use it. Some water may evaporate, causing the salinity to rise. You might have to add more fresh water to get it where you need it to be.
