Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for some help on what I can do to get my 37g saltwater tank back to looking good again. I was away at college for 3 months and haven't been able to keep up on the maintenance of my tank. Currently there are two Pecula clowns and a bunch of brittle stars living in the tank. I think there may be a bristle worm invasion and there is a lot of algae forming a spider like web around my liverocks. I've attached some photos as well.

Thanks, Alex

Scrape all the glass and vacuum out the algae crud. Essentially doing water changes should help.
The rocks you could pick, scrub or blow clean.
Bristles probably invaded due to high nitrates

Gonna need a lot of elbow grease and some water changes. Get the RO-DI fired up and start scraping! Hang in there, it will get better. Just remember it took 3 months to get to this state. Don't expect it to be perfect in 1 day. ;)
